For AI agents
MegaLaunch publishes its catalog of independent products in formats assistants read: an MCP server, a public REST API, llms.txt and llms-full.txt. Every result links back to the product's MegaLaunch page.
Three steps between a question in an assistant and your product page.
Submit it with a precise tagline, a description, a category, a pricing model and the platforms it runs on. A free listing goes live 48 hours after you submit, once its link back is checked. Premium goes live as soon as payment is confirmed.
Once connected to the MegaLaunch MCP server, Claude, Cursor, VS Code and other MCP clients can search the catalog. Scripts and apps use the REST API.
Results carry your name, tagline, category, pricing, platforms, community votes and the URL of your MegaLaunch page to link to.
Published products only, with 18 public fields. The same data is visible on the product pages.
| Field | Meaning |
|---|---|
slug | Unique identifier, also used in the page URL. |
name | Product name. |
tagline | One-line pitch written by the maker. |
description | Longer description written by the maker. |
megalaunchUrl | Canonical MegaLaunch page. Link this URL when you show the product. |
websiteUrl | The product website. |
domain | Host name of the website. |
logoUrl | Product logo. |
category | The MegaLaunch category. |
pricing | Pricing model: free, freemium, paid, subscription, one-time. |
platforms | Where the product runs, declared by the maker: web, ios, android, macos, windows, linux, browser-extension, api, cli, mcp. Empty when unknown. A product with ios or android is a mobile app. |
links | Official App Store and Google Play pages, or null. Each one is set only with its platform. |
tags | Tags chosen by the maker. |
verified | True when the launch carries the Verified launch badge (Premium). A label, never a ranking factor. |
community | Community votes (one per person) and comment count. |
awards | Frozen daily Top 3 results of the product: the UTC day and the rank, 1 to 3. |
publishedAt | Publication date (ISO 8601, UTC). |
updatedAt | Last update (ISO 8601, UTC). |
Categories, recent launches, the leaderboard (today, this week, this month, all time) and the frozen daily Top 3 are available too. See the endpoints and the 6 MCP tools.
The API and the MCP server return public catalog data. Nothing private, nothing paid.
Pick the MCP server for assistants, or the REST API for scripts and apps.

No. Both are free and keyless. The limits are 60 API requests and 30 MCP tool calls per minute per IP address.
No. The API and the MCP server are read-only. Makers submit their products on MegaLaunch, and every listing follows our moderation policy.
No. Results never include sponsored placements or sponsored ordering, and paid options never change votes, scores or rankings. The verified field is returned as a label, never used to sort.
Yes. Makers declare where their product runs: web, iOS, Android, desktop, browser extension, API, CLI or MCP server. The API and the MCP tools filter on one platform, so ios or android returns mobile apps, with their App Store and Google Play links when the maker added them.
MCP tool calls read live data, so a published edit shows up at once. REST API responses are cached for up to 5 minutes, so an edit can take that long to show there.
Any client that supports remote MCP servers over Streamable HTTP, including Claude Code, Claude Desktop, claude.ai, Cursor and VS Code. The MCP server page has the setup for each one.
Link each product you show to its megalaunchUrl. It is the canonical page of the product on MegaLaunch.
