Content and listing moderation policy

How MegaLaunch reviews listings, promotions and community contributions.

Last updated: 12 September 2026

Scope

This policy applies to product listings, names, descriptions, categories, URLs, logos, screenshots, videos, builder profiles, comments, ratings, Spotlight placements, Billboard creatives and other sponsored content submitted to MegaLaunch. It applies both before and after publication.

Eligible listings

MegaLaunch lists digital products, software and online tools with a clear purpose and a working destination. Submitters must own the product or have authority to represent it. Descriptions, prices, availability, screenshots and claims must be accurate. A listing must provide immediate, understandable value and must not impersonate another company, person or product.

Prohibited content and products

We reject or remove content involving:

  • Illegal activity, fraud, phishing, malware, credential theft or evasion tools.
  • Adult or sexually explicit content, sexual services, exploitation or content unsafe for minors.
  • Hate, harassment, threats, violent extremism, weapons sales or encouragement of violence.
  • Gambling, unlicensed financial services, deceptive investment claims, illegal drugs or other prohibited and regulated goods or services.
  • Copyright, trademark, privacy or publicity-right violations, including unauthorised use of personal information or media.
  • Spam, scraping without a lawful basis, fake engagement, manipulated reviews, vote automation or coordinated ranking manipulation.
  • Misleading pricing, false testimonials, unverifiable performance claims, artificial urgency or a broken destination that does not deliver what the listing promises.
  • Placeholder, waitlist or unfinished offers with no immediate usable value, and low-value material presented as a finished premium product.
  • Physical goods, in-person work, custom consulting, coaching, freelancing or other services whose main value depends on manual delivery.
  • Crypto assets, financial products or advice, stored-value services, fundraising, donations, marketplaces, ticketing, travel booking or government filing services.
  • Medical, legal, accounting, health, wellness or other regulated professional services, including products making diagnostic, treatment or miracle claims.
  • Dating or anonymous social matching, gambling, video games or virtual goods, unauthorised streaming, software licence resale or unlicensed content access.
  • Hosting, VPN, proxy, server access, telecommunications or tools designed to bypass platform, authentication, rate-limit or geographic restrictions.

This list is not exhaustive. We may decline another high-risk product or a product that Dodo Payments cannot resell under its merchant acceptance policy.

Listing review process

Submissions pass automated checks for required fields, permitted media and safe URLs. Listings can publish after those checks, and newly published listings are subject to ongoing human review. A Premium upgrade can publish a saved private draft after confirmed payment, but payment never bypasses moderation. We may request proof of ownership, access to the product, revised copy or another working URL. Material edits and credible reports can trigger a new review at any time. A listing can be restricted or removed while we investigate a report.

Sponsored placement review

Spotlight is available only for a published product that meets this policy. Billboard creatives must identify the promoted product clearly and follow the same rules as directory listings. A placement can activate automatically after payment, but remains subject to moderation throughout delivery. Paid placement never affects votes, rankings, badges or battle results. Sponsored outbound links are identified as sponsored.

Community moderation

Comments and ratings must relate to the product and reflect a real interaction or honest opinion. We remove spam, harassment, undisclosed conflicts, personal data, copied reviews and coordinated manipulation. Invalid votes can be excluded from results. Repeated or serious abuse can lead to account restrictions or suspension.

Enforcement and paid orders

Depending on the issue, we may request changes, correct a category, reject publication, remove media, suspend a listing or placement, invalidate affected participation, restrict an account or permanently remove it. Illegal content and credible safety threats may be preserved and reported where required by law. If moderation prevents a paid service from being delivered, the undelivered service is handled under our refund policy. Payment does not guarantee approval and does not override this policy.

Reports and appeals

Report a listing, contribution or placement through Contact or email contact@megalaun.ch. Include the URL, the reason for the report and any supporting details. We review reports proportionately and prioritise illegal content, safety risks and active fraud. A submitter can appeal a moderation decision by replying with the affected URL, account email and evidence explaining why the content complies. A person who was not involved in the initial decision will review the appeal where practicable.
