How daily battles and voting work

Understand UTC deadlines, qualification requirements, fresh final votes and what happens on quieter days.

Two stages on two UTC days

A battle entry first participates in its camp’s launch-day standings. Voting runs during that UTC day and closes at the next 00:00 UTC. The countdown beside the launch list shows the remaining time. The monthly discovery view gives products a longer place to be found, but it does not extend the voting window.

If both camps produce an eligible champion, those two products meet in a separate final on the following UTC day. That final starts with zero votes. Its own countdown controls its voting window, independently of the new products launching that day. A vote for a launch does not automatically become a vote in the final.

What a camp needs to qualify

Each camp must have at least two eligible entries for that day. Its leading product also needs at least one valid vote. If a camp has only one product, or nobody receives a valid vote, it cannot send a champion to the final. If either camp falls short, there is no final for that launch day.

The approved product pages stay in the directory. A quieter day does not remove the listing or create an automatic winner. The launch is recorded as completed, without a camp champion trophy for an unqualified camp. Entries are not silently rescheduled to another day.

Cast, change or withdraw a vote

Sign in and use the up arrow on an open launch card. You can support different products, with one active launch vote per account per product. Pressing the selected vote again withdraws it while that launch is open. In a final you have one choice across the two finalists; switching products replaces the earlier choice.

The server checks the deadline when a vote arrives. Leaving a page open does not extend the window. Buttons become unavailable when the countdown reaches zero. Suspended accounts and invalidated votes do not contribute to the official result. Invite people to try the product and give honest feedback; buying or exchanging votes is not allowed.

Read the result in context

Launch standings use valid vote counts. Equal launch scores are ordered by entry creation time and then the entry identifier, so the order stays deterministic. A tied final has no overall winner. Rankings and badges are recorded after the voting period closes.

The community podium summarizes votes earned during each product’s own launch day within the displayed period. Historical products show their recorded totals, with voting closed. Featured placements and Billboard pixel rankings are separate sponsored visibility. Their price, pixel area, views and clicks do not change the community vote score.
